Darryl A. Jones
Darryl moved to Kansas City in 1999 with his family to plant a local, New Testament church in one of The Metro's fastest growing communities at the time - Grain Valley, MO. He and his wife Sharon founded Crossroads Church...a community of HOPE on April 4, 1999 and he continues as the Lead Pastor there today. Darryl is passionate about not only helping people to find Jesus, but helping them to follow Him with reckless abandon, making disciples that make disciples.
Living in community with people - serving and doing life with others - is important to Darryl and has been a driving force to his involvement in Grain Valley organizations and government. He has used his administrative/executive skills are put to good use as he serves on the board of the Grain Valley Assistance Council, leads the Fellowship of Grain Valley Churches and Pastors; he serves as the Past President of the Grain Valley Partnership (Economic Development) and serves/has served on several advisory boards and committees in the community.
Darryl has a missional heart which led to the partnership with Richard Casebolt and Refuge KC. It is his desire to lead his church as well as others in the community to serve our international neighbors through Gospel-focused ministries of mercy in Kansas City neighborhoods.
Darryl and Sharon have been married for nearly 28 years and have four young adult children.
