Program Support Specialist

I joined Refuge KC in April of 2026. I graduated from KU with my bachelor’s degree
in microbiology in May of 2024, and am a current graduate student pursuing my
Master of Divinity at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. After being saved by
Jesus in June of 2024, I have come believe there exists no greater joy than to see
how the loving hand of God works on a personal level in the lives of individuals to
comfort and care for the souls of men, and ultimately guide them to Christ.

My ministry experience includes volunteering at the Salvation Army of Douglas
County, in which the Lord opened many doors to serve those struggling with
homelessness and weariness in the city of Lawrence, KS. It was here that I first saw
the sheer depth of love and compassion that God possesses for each and every
person, both the saved and unsaved alike, and decided to pursue ministry to be
apart of God’s work in bringing the saving name of His Son, Jesus Christ to both the
community and the individual. I am currently serving as a pastoral intern at the
Master’s Community Church in Kansas City, Kansas.​
