Victoria DunbarRelief Services Coordinator
Victoria Dunbar, soon to be Victoria Marlin, received her bachelors degree in Social Science, emphasis sociology, from Biola University in 2018. After that, she did non-profit work in North Africa for two years where she learned Arabic and worked with Muslim Women specifically. Her heart for the nations began to grow during her International Development course, but it was not until she served overseas that her heart truly began to break for the nations.
Before working at Refuge KC, Victoria was a Case Manager at City Union Mission, where she began to learn the ins and outs of services provided in Kansas City and how to meet individuals where you encounter them. Victoria plans on using these skills to serve refugees in the area. Her hope is that with these skills, she will be able to help families and individuals find stable housing and employment while being able to spend time actually being a family rather than needing to overwork in order to provide.
